I included this project in my portfolio because it is a fan letter to my favorite singer, Katy Perry. I enjoyed being able to write a fan letter to her, as I am a huge fan and love her work. This fan letter let me express why I love Katy Perry and how she inspires me. This activity stands out to me because it allowed me and oter students to express our thoughts about our favorite celebrity, and could even give us the chance to send them the letter! I really enjoyed writing this letter and it was really important to me to be able to show why she is a role model to me! I loved this project so much that I might even send her the letter!
I included this project in my e-portfolio because it brought out my creative side and allowed me to use clipart. This project is called News Headlines. In this activity, we had to write out the headlines and connect them to pictures. I really enjoyed this activity, and also added a litte of my own touch to it, as I changed the direction of the headlines so that it looks more appealing and is not very boring to look at. This project stands out because I worked pretty hard on it and was able to make the headlines look abstract by changing their direction. I really loved working on a project that I could add my own style to!
I included this project in my portfolio beacuse it includes the stats from American Idol, one of my favorite television shows. This activity is a letter to Rayan Seacrest, the shows host, about how big of a fan the author is and includes the stats from season 5. This activity stands out to me becasue when I was little, American Idol was my favorite show and I was a huge fan! The first season that I really watched was season 5, and it really got me hooked on the show! I was also a huge Katharine Mcphee fan, and was pretty upset when she lost. I liked being able to work on a project that reminded me of how much I loved the show, and it actually had some sentimental meaning to it!
I included this project because I found it interesting to compare the two types of cars that i think are pretty cool. The activity is a comparison of two of your favorite cars adn which car yo tink would be teh best after comparing them. This activity stands out because I cant wait to start driving and I am looking foward to getting a car someday. The VW Beetle and teh CHevy Cruze are two cars that I have ridden in in the past, and I really enjoyed it. I liked being able to work on this project because it allowed me to gain information about the cars, like the gas mileage, the price, and the features of the two models. This project was very informative and kind of fun too!
I included this activity in my e-portfolio because it was relaly fun to work on. The focus of this project was rollercoasters, which is something I really enjoy! Each slide had a different topic of roller coasters, so I was able to learn a little about the history, while adding my own experiences into the project. This project stands out to me because I am a big fan of roller coasters and I enjoy riding them, so being able to learn interesting facts and look up the stats of the fastest roller coasters was really cool! The speeds that the roller coasters can go up to was so interesting and I never would have expected it! I enjoyed working on this project because it combined one fo my favotite activies with new facts that i never would have guessed! Some of the speeds were just crazy, but I will always think about that every time I go on a roller coaster!
I included this project because it allowed me to write about one of my favortite movies, The Notebook. In this activity, you had to create slides that explained the background on your favorite movie and why it is your favorite movie. Being able to write about this movie was very fun for me because I love it so much! This project stood out for me because it envolved writing about your own opinion, which is fun to do because it is my favorite! I also was able to find new facts that I didnt know about the actors, which was pretty cool. I really enjoyed working on this project because I focused on The Notebook, which is an amazing movie and also looked up other good movies and their stats like gross earnings and date it premiered!

This project was my favorite out of all that I did because it envolved creating a powerpoint about a dream vacation. This actvity was great because I looked up my dream vacation spot, Marco Island, Florida, and created a powerpoint of all the great things this place has to offer. Making a powerpoint that focused on a beautiful place was great because through all the activities, I almost felt like I was there! This project stands out and was my favorite because of the creatvity and fun that I had and used when creating this powerpoint! I really enjoyed this project because I felt like I was actually on my Dream Vacation and maybe someday I will actually be able to go there!
